Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park in Gerroa, NSW has miles of pristine beach at its doorstep. Nestled between the Seven Mile Beach and the river, the park is just 45 minutes from Wollongong and an hour and a half south of Sydney on the NSW South Coast. It’s also 10 minutes to the popular coastal town of Kiama.
Cabin accommodation at Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park includes Spa Cabins, Beach Huts, Beachside cabins, Safari Tents, and Surf Shacks. All are meticulously and tastefully appointed and perfectly located. The Spa Cabins, Beach Huts and Beachside cabins are all self-contained with kitchens, bathrooms, reverse cycle air-conditioning, TV/DVD players, sofas, with alfresco dining on and all linen supplied. Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park Eco Safari Tents have secluded views that overlook the river, spacious bathroom, and an open front deck. The Surf Shacks feature studio-style accommodation with shared bathroom/amenity facilities, air-conditioning, and a front and rear deck. Both feature kitchenettes with microwave and coffee and tea making facilities.
Sites for vans and campers are also plentiful. The park is split by the Crooked River Road, so if you’re a caravaner or camper, there’s the option to stay either riverside or beachside.
Beachside powered sites are available with or without slabs, 1 minute from the beach. Riverside powered and unpowered sites are grassy, spacious, and close to the water with all of them having river views. Some have immaculate ensuites and dogs are welcome.
Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park is resort-style holidaying with two swimming pools, BBQ cabanas, three camp kitchens, tennis court, kangaroo jumper, playgrounds, bike and peddle cart hire . It’s an adventure playground with canoe/kayak/surfboard/ paddleboard hire and there’s a great community spirit with a friendship farm, community vegetable and herb garden, and kiosk on site. In peak times the park has a popular kids’ club, and offers movie nights, rock nights and much more.
You can take your pick of water activities on the tranquil Crooked River, and the pristine beach is merely a minute’s walk away, with Seven Mile Beach National Park and its unspoilt coastal bushland. Mix up the adventure with fabulous food and wine in Gerringong, Kiama and Berry.
In the cooler months, you can hire a firepit to toast marshmallows and snuggle up with gas log fires and electric blankets in the cabins.
